Who We Are!
At Cupid Peaceland Initiative, we make sure all our work helps to achieve these goals.
Sustainable:
Nearly all the countries in the world have promised to improve the planet and the lives of its citizens by 2030.
They have committed themselves to 17 life-changing goals, outlined by the UN in 2015. These Global Goals, also known as the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), include ending extreme poverty, giving people better healthcare, and achieving equality for women.

How Cupid Peaceland Initiative is working towards the Global Goals
Campaigning :

Disability Rights :
We want to ensure that education, health care and employment opportunities are available to all mankind without discrimination.
Cupid Peaceland Initiative and Disability:
Children, Youths ( girls & boys) and Men in Abia, Anambra and Enugu queue up to have their eyes checked by an eye health worker.


Our “ABILITY IN DISABILITY” campaign promotes equality for people with disabilities (Goal 10: Reduced inequalities).
Eliminating Diseases
We have ambitious plans to eliminate trachoma and other neglected tropical diseases.
Our major work
Cupid Peaceland Initiative’ work directly and contributes towards achieving the Global Goals.
We ensure people stay healthy so they can work and support themselves and their families (Goal 1: No poverty)
We help to provide Humanitarian care in some of the world’s poorest countries (Goal 3: Good health)
Our education programmes aim to ensure every child is able to go to school (Goal 4: Education).
We strive for gender equality in all our programmes, right from the planning stages (Goal 5: Gender equality).
We promote good hygiene to help eliminate neglected tropical diseases (Goal 6: Clean water).

To end poverty, everyone should have basic healthcare, security and education.

Globally, one in nine people are undernourished. This goal aims to end hunger.

Ensuring people live healthy lives can cut child mortality and raise life expectancy.

The UN wants everyone to have access to inclusive, equitable quality education.
- Gender equality
Gender equality is a human right, and is vital for a peaceful, prosperous world.

Clean water protects people from disease, yet three in 10 people lack access to it.
8: Affordable and clean energy’.
- Clean energy
Targets for 2030 include using more renewable, affordable energy.
10: Decent work and economic growth’.
- Economic growth
The aim is for sustainable economic growth and decent employment for all.
12: Industry, innovation and infrastructure’.
This involves building resilient infrastructure and fostering innovation.
13: reduced inequalities’.
- No inequality
The poorest 40 per cent of the population should be able to grow their income faster than average.
15: Sustainable cities and communities’.
The UN wants to increase affordable housing and make settlements inclusive, safe and sustainable.


16: Responsible consumption and production’.
This goal aims to foster eco-friendly production, reduce waste and boost recycling.
17: Climate action’.
Urgent action is needed, by regulating emissions and promoting renewable energy.
18: Life below water’.
The aim is to conserve and sustainably use the oceans, seas and marine resources.
Life on Land’.
To stop degradation, we must preserve forest, desert and mountain ecosystems.
Peace, justice and strong institutions’.
The aim is inclusive societies with strong institutions that provide justice for all.
